Paper Daisy Creations’ Lisa Ross is hosting an epic KAL to raise awareness for World Down Syndrome Day and funds for Down Syndrome International. Starting on February 1st, KAL’ers will be challenged to knit a mix-matched pair of socks to celebrate Down Syndrome International’s Lots of Socks initiative. Knit socks from the KAL’s participating sock designers (there are 13 of them!) and then, on March 21st, World Down Syndrome Day, wear your finished mix-matched socks to celebrate the uniqueness of those living with Down Syndrome. To make this KAL even sweeter, each day from February 1-15, one designer will put a pattern on sale and donate proceeds to Down Syndrome International. Oh, and there will be prizes. Really good prizes.
