Hop Into A Crocheted Spring

Up your crochet game with Nicki’s Homemade Crafts’ ‘Hop In To Spring’ event. Each day through April 20th, receive a new, free crochet pattern from a different designer. Follow Nicki’s Homemade Crafts’ on Instagram or sign up for her newsletter to see the pattern pick and get the 24-hour code that allows you to download it for free. Yesterday, Marly Bird’s Crochet Tote pattern was the featured project, but today’s could be from KT and Squid, The Purple Poncho, Lavender Chair, or a handful of other participating designers.

Know The New

Designer Joji Locatelli has launched a new brand, Joji + Co, specializing in new and unique accessory products for knitters. In collaboration with her talented Argentinian maker, each item in the Joji + Co collection will be designed in part by Joji and earn her “dream product” stamp of approval. While there is no talk of website, launch date, or other products that will be featured, the recently teased BA Bag has us on the edge of our seat, anxious for more. For her first collaboration, the bag, which is made from locally sourced materials, features suede leather and a re-positionable handle so it can be used as a project bag, handbag, or both. Follow Joji + Co on Instagram to stay in-the-know as more details from this exciting new brand emerge.

CAST ON: Windcatcher by Amy van der Laar

Designer Amy van de Laar aka Baroque Purls has released a new shawl that is an ode to her New Zealand town and the inspiring water that sits at its harbor. Made with Fingering weight yarn, Windcatcher is an asymmetrical shawl that features an almost chevron-like pattern with its strategic eyelets and wavy garter stitch rows. Whether you wrap the oversized shawl (it opens to 73.5”) around your neck or lay draping on your shoulders it is a perfect layering piece for Summer.
