But first, see how one woman uses the power of KNIT in her daily life.

Dishie’s New Color Collection

Dishie – Knit Pick’s go-to dishcloth yarn made of 100% cotton – has welcomed a new color collection to its offerings. Dishie Twist features a two-color twisted strand, reminiscent of baker’s twine. Available in 12 bright and fun color ways, this worsted weight yarn is perfect for making hand towels, dish towels, and other practical knits.

Call For Designs

Interweave Knits is looking for accessory and garment patterns inspired by Gothic literature and architecture for its Winter 2021 issue. Patterns – think gloves, shawls, hats, and capes – should celebrate the obscurity of this ominous style, while still staying true to the Interweave style. Submissions are due by Friday, January 10, 2020.

Around this time (and again in June), yarn shops, dyers, and other industry insiders start chattering about “going to TNNA.” But this year, you’ll hear “Creativation” instead. This year, TNNA, which stands for The National Needlearts Association, has partnered with AfCI Global to host its winter product showcase at Creativation. The established creative industries trade event, happening January 16-20 in Phoenix, AZ, will host a “TNNA Pavilion” within the Creativation show for TNNA members to set up and show of their fiber goods and make new retail connections. Store owners are encouraged to attend and experience all this educational event has to offer.
