The crafty collaboration of fiber businesses – including Sincere Sheep, Creative With Clay, Royal Bee Yarn Company, Knitted Wit, and more – is back with a virtual Among Friends for the 2021 season. Instead of meeting up at Stitches West, get together online with this group of industry leaders turned friends. Available for pre-order on February 15th, pre-order the 2021 Virtually Among Friends Project Bag, which includes a face mask, and discounts from the nine participating vendors. Then, on February 20th, join the Craft Among Friends team for a live Q+A and discussion on Zoom from 10 am – 12 pm PT.

Join the Buffy Club

Jilly & Kiddles is launching a Buffy the Vampire Mystery Yarn Club with three months of mystery yarn based on the series’ characters Buffy, Kendra, and Faith. Each month receive a skein of hand-dyed fingering weight yarn and a set of themed goodies, and extras. Pre-orders are open through February 22nd and the first kit ships April 15th.

Knit With Joy

Making Stories has put out a call for submissions for its upcoming 7th issue. The team is looking to include 2-3 pairs of socks, 2-3 neck accessories, 1-2 hats, and 3-4 sweaters that communicate joy. Submit your design ideas – from beginner to advanced skill level – by March 8th. Those chosen will be paired with one of Making Stories’ yarn partners to create their final design by June 17th.
