Knit For Good

The now Ohio-based fiber house, The Fiber Seed, is helping their neighbors in need. Through Monday, June 3rd at 11:59 pm (that’s tonight!) they will be donating all the proceeds from all sales to the Dayton Foodbank to help those in the Miami Valley/Dayton area who were affected by the recent tornadoes. Try one of their cool Half Speckled colorways, grab a sweater quantity of their Sprout Worsted, or pick up some Sprout Minis to add to your scrappy blanket project. Cast on with your new haul knowing that you made a difference.

CAST ON: Pixie Dust by Tamy Gore

A magical shawl that combines three colors of Sport weight yarn to create an asymmetrically shaped accessory that drapes beautifully around the neck. Color and technique changes (you’ll use brioche, slipped stitches, and garter stitch) make this a fun and fast knit, but the squishiness and eye-catching look of the shawl make it one you’ll want to wear with everything.
