CAST ON: Strawflower Shawl by Ksenia Naidyon

With two colors of fingering weight yarn – or use a fingering weight and lace weight mohair – cast on this triangle-shaped shawl that is worked flat from the top down. Traditional stripes get a modern update with lots of texture and interest as you alternate stripes of bobbles, lace, twisted stitches, and solid stockinette. The modified v at the top of the shawl helps it to perfectly drape over shoulders or wrap around the neck.
