Join the Myak Benefit Auction Today

The team at Myak is currently leading an initiative to establish the doKarpo Woolly Lab to bring back and preserve the ancient weaving and spinning traditions of the Tibetan Plateau. The Woolly Lab will help the region build a sustainable and ethical textile chain, as well as establish a “Made By Tibetans” label that will produce small products, textiles, and yarns that will benefit the workers and Shepards involved with the making. To help fund the project, there is currently a Go Fund Me campaign (which is almost halfway funded!) and an Instagram benefit auction featuring sample garments from Julie Hoover and Michele Wang. The auction begins on the @myakbeyondborders Instagram page today at 10:00 am EDT and runs through March 14th.
