But first, get your tickets for Knit Rino’s Virtual Knitting Extravaganza, happening this weekend.

Come Together For Music City

Nashville, home to many of our favorite makers including Fringe Supply Co, Nutmeg Fiber Arts, and Mason Dixon Knitting, is still recovering from the devastating affects of last week’s tornado. To help raise funds for relief efforts, Fringe Supply Co is hosting a fundraiser. Starting today at 3:00pm CT, 18 of the company’s no-longer-in-production Rambler Satchel in army green canvas will be available for purchase. 100% of the purchase price will be donated to CFMT’s Nashville Relief Fund.

Arbor Gets New Colors

Brooklyn Tweed released three new, staple colorways of its DK-weight Arbor yarn. The rich Burnished, Spruce, and Seaglass are modern formulations of classic colors that will be solid choices for your BT knits. Especially Norah Gaughn’s Rowlock sweater that we love so much.

Daily Dose of Clara Parkes

Knitting’s resident writer Clara Parkes has gone from novel to newsletter with her new endeavor, the Daily Respite. Designed to be brief distraction from the everyday, all are welcome to sign up and receive her free daily email with a feel-good photo, song, video, or musing. While it’s not knitting related content, a dose of the sweet, beautiful and fun is a great way to start the day.

CAST ON: Foster Hat by Allyson Dykhuizen

Add a dose of fun to your spring wardrobe with this modern chevron hat from designer Allyson Dykhuizen. Use DK weight yarn (the designer used BT Arbor!) to work this hat flat, from the brim to crown.
