Meet Skein Tones

Lion Brand has introduced Skein Tones, a color collection from the Basic Stitch Anti-Pilling yarn, that offers a neutral palette to complement a wide spectrum of skin tones. The 12 nuanced colorways range from a bright Ivory to a dark Ebony with both pink- and yellow-hued neutrals in between, offering an opportunity for most to find a color that represents them. The Aran weight yarn comes in balls of 185 yards (170 m) and is made from 100% acrylic materials.

Knit Beyond Borders Auction

Get ready for Knit Beyond Borders’ next online auction happening March 19-21 to benefit Sister’s United, a grassroots non-profit that raises funds and awareness to empower and heal Indigenous women, children communities, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). The Instagram-hosted auction will feature donated knit and fiber goods from a long list of industry makers, designers, and entrepreneurs. Starting on March 19th, each auction item will be given its own post on the @knit.beyond.borders Instagram page and bids will be posted in the comment section. The highest bid wins the items, but it’s Sister’s United who will be the real winners.
