POM POM ISSUE 28 NOW AVAILABLE

Pom Pom Quarterly‘s Spring issue is now available both in print and electronically. Issue 28 showcases both knit and crochet patterns inspired by budding Spring botanicals. The nine patterns – six garments and three accessories – offer something for every type of Spring. From a worsted weight sweater for those still waiting for the snow to melt to an open lacework jacket to wear during morning walks on the beach, the issue gives bloom to wearable handknits that will keep you looking your best as you transition from cold to hot temperatures. Between the patterns, find plant themed musings from Anna Maltz and other hand-crafty maidens.

HELP IMPROVE RAVELRY

The team at Ravelry is spearheading new site improvements, but before they can build the next best thing, they want to know how users interact with the site. To study behaviors, Ravelry is asking users to become Usability Testing Volunteers. You don’t need to know coding skills or the latest techy jargon to apply. Instead, just simply opt into the new job title by toggling on the “Usability Testing Volunteer” option in the “Beta Testing” section on your Preferences page. As a UTV, Ravelry will be able to see the country in which you live, what device you are using to browse, and what pages you go to on Ravelry. And from the data, they will be able to determine how to build the site to best fit the needs and wants of the user.
