Magnolia In Bloom

Quince & Co has released a new, limited edition colorway in honor of Mother’s Day. Magnolia, a creamy, antique white, is now available on Quince’s Tern, their American wool-silk, fingering weight yarn. The single batch colorway mimics newly blossomed spring flowers and is a compliment to the 31-hues in the Tern color palette, including the three new 2019 additions, Ink, Shoals, and Atolla. Available now and until it’s sold out.

Calling All Designers

Summit Rd. Fibers – a hand-dyed fiber house based in the Pacific Northwest – is seeking designers to participate in their upcoming fall knit kits. Interested designers are invited to submit any type of timeless knitwear design project using Summit Rd’s Fingering, DK, or Aran yarns. Applications are currently being accepted and those chosen will be given yarn and financial support for their participation in this collaborative project.

A Hat For Shetland

Knitting has a special connection with the Shetland Islands, so it’s no surprise that a knitted hat has been designed to help a special Shetland program. To support the efforts of the Shetland MRI Scanner Appeal, an initiative to purchase an MRI scanner for the Island, knitter Harriett Middleton designed Harriet’s Hat with yarn from Jamieson’s of Shetland to raise funds. The unique fair isle hat is now available for purchase and funds are donated to the cause.

CAST ON: Rosa Cardigan by Anna Dervout

There’s always space in our closet for a cardigan, especially one that is as sweet and wearable as Rosa, the newest design from Anna Dervout. The cropped cardigan features a feminine v-neck front with lace details on the raglan shoulder shaping. Knit flat, the cardigan can be worked with fingering and mohair yarns held together or with a single strand of DK/Sport.
