CAST ON: Six Wives Shawl by Potter + Bloom

Created to celebrate the six wives of Henry III, this asymmetrical, crocheted shawl combines five mini skeins with one full skein of fingering weight yarn. The shawl includes one colored stripe for each wife – Catherine, the two Katherines, Jane, and the two Annes. Strategically placed, the stripe even represents the length of their marriages. Using a size G hook, this shawl is made entirely of single crochet stitches.
