Meet Tweedy Noir

Joining Hedgehog Fibre’s catalog of yarns is Tweedy Noir, a darker variation of its popular Tweedy that debuted this past July. With the same fiber content, including its 12.5% colorful thread waste, Tweedy Noir features a black base instead of a sand-esque like its predecessor. The one-of-a-kind DK weight yarn is available in 250-yard skeins. Tweedy Noir is available at and from select local yarn shops, including Do Ewe Knit and Jimmy Beans Wool.

CAST ON: Letters to Camp by Jennifer L Parroccini

This button-down kids’ cardigan features extra warm fabric and a playful rainbow of colors that travel from the front panels of the button band and around the sweater’s hood. The body of the sweater is knit with yarn held double and in a cool texture to create a dense, almost jacket-fabric. Work Letters to Camp in separate pieces and seam them together using fingering weight yarn in one main color and four contrasting colors.
