A New Season of Good Enough Creative

A new season of Good Enough Creative is now available. From Marie Greene of Olive Knits, the 15-minute-ish episodes explore the creative process in an uplifting and real way. Already two episodes in this season (yay for binging!), the host has dished on the messy side of the creative life and the benefits of having a community. Queue up today’s episode for your weekly “you can do it” and “you’re not alone” pep talk. Then, go be your best creative self! New episodes are available each Thursday.

Knit Like a Local

After taking us to Paris and New York, One More Row Press takes us on a virtual tour of San Francisco in I Knit San Francisco. Available now in print and an online version, the issue features ten patterns from ten Bay Area knitwear designers including Julie Weisenberger, Heatherly Walker, Yvonne Poon, Sonya Phillip, and Kathleen Dames. In addition to the four tops, hat, wrap, cowl, mitts, socks, and rug, “tour” a dozen Bay Area yarn shops and get recommendations on where to eat and drink when you’re in town next. Headed to Rhinebeck? Head over to Book Alley (Building C) and pick up a copy in person.

Le Pouf Cardi KAL

Hedgehog Fibers is celebrating the release of their “Le Pouf” cardigan with a KAL. The pattern, which uses two fingering weight strands held together, encourages you to scour your stash and fill in the blanks with Hedgehog Fibers (Skinny Singles, perhaps?) to create the fade of your dreams. Add pics of your WIPs to the Ravelry group or post to Instagram with #hhflepoufkal for your chance to win prizes. Knitting starts now and wraps up on January 10th.
