Ritual Dyes has followed in the footsteps of Philadelphia’s Wild Hand’s Little Free Fiber Library to create their own outside their shop in Portland. If you’re in Portland, find the library at SE Division & 11th where you can swap tools and yarn, donate some goods, or simply just be inspired to do something kind.

Knit City Vancouver Goes Virtual

Knit City Vancouver has revamped its fiber festival to bring fiber artists a virtual event. From October 2-4, take a variety of virtual webinars and attend a virtual knit night with The Grocery Girls. Instructors for the 2020 fest include Romi Hill, Francoise Danoy, Bristol Ivy, Mary Jane Mucklestone, Julie Asselin, among others. Knit City merch is now available, but event tickets go on sale on September 25th.

Westknits Color Play Redux

Stephen West is hosting another webinar to wax poetic about one of his favorite topics: color. On September 27th, join the designer for a deep dive into color techniques, including marled knitting, faded knitting, and stripes and slipped stitches. Learn how to pair colors, build beautiful palettes and make garments you truly love. The webinar kicks off at 6pm Amsterdam time.
