A New Kind of Stash

Some of us go to the LYS to score wool, but for one lucky family in Lincoln, California the wool came to them. While sheep were on duty clearing overgrowth in the area to prevent forest fires, the curious herd wandered into a backyard and, well, got stuck. Thankfully there is video footage to make us realize what it might be like if we had sheep living in our backyard. Because let’s be real, we’ve all wondered what it would be like to have a wool supply in arm’s reach.

From LYS Day to KAL

Knitters who participated in last weekend’s LYS Day festivities and scored Casapinka’s exclusive Magical Thinking shawl can keep the LYS Day fun going. Starting today, Casapinka will be hosting a KAL bringing knitters from LYS across the country together to knit the oversized, eye-catching shawl. Share the yarn you’re using, drop your LYS’ name, and then cast on – all happening now in the designers’ Raverly group. The KAL runs through June 30th so there is plenty of time to complete this project and share it with the group!
